Ideally exposed to the South-East, this emblematic grape variety of Alsace reveals its roots on the schist soil of Andlau.

An atypical 12-month ageing in demi-muids (also called Puenchon) brings fullness and complexity to the palate, enough to awaken the taste buds of dry white wine lovers.

Caractère et gastronomie

Notre Pinot Blanc révèle des notes de raisins frais et de crème fraîche, tout en s’appuyant sur une acidité mesurée. Il s’exprime joliment auprès d’une volaille rôtie, d’un pâté en croûte, ou d’une fondue au fromage. À table, la carte de la simplicité saura mettre en valeur la délicatesse de ce beau Pinot.

Un cépage pur Alsacien

Anciennement nommé Klevner ou Clevner – à ne pas confondre avec le Klevener de Heiligenstein qui correspond au cépage Savagnin rose – le Pinot Blanc d’Alsace est la forme blanche du Pinot Noir. Cépage vigoureux, le Pinot Blanc d’Alsace rayonne parmi les sept cépages phares de notre belle région.

Un vin fruité et discret

Traditionnellement associé à un caractère léger, fruité, et discret, notre Pinot Blanc se distingue par un élevage qui apporte une amplitude étonnante. Le terroir de schiste, quant à lui, fait écho par une finale légèrement saline.

Character and gastronomy

Our Pinot Blanc reveals notes of fresh grapes and fresh cream, while relying on a measured acidity. It expresses itself nicely with roasted poultry, a pie or a cheese fondue. With food, the simplicity card will highlight the delicacy of this beautiful Pinot.

A pure Alsatian grape variety

Formerly called Klevner or Clevner – not to be confused with Klevener de Heiligenstein which corresponds to the pink Savagnin grape variety – Pinot Blanc d'Alsace is the white form of Pinot Noir. It is one of the seven leading grape varieties of our beautiful region.

A fruity and discreet wine

Traditionally associated with a light, fruity and discreet character, our Pinot Blanc is distinguished by a maturation that brings a surprising amplitude. The schist terroir echoes with a slightly saline finish.

Des vignerons rigoureux et passionnés

Le domaine Wach est une entreprise familiale située à Andlau, une jolie commune viticole du Bas-Rhin, en Alsace. D’artisans tonneliers à artisans vignerons, nous cultivons la volonté de bien faire à l’échelle humaine. Nous prenons plaisir à dessiner de grands vins de cépages exprimant les beautés des cépages Alsaciens. Les 9 hectares, divisés en une vingtaine de parcelles, seront certifiées bio dès la récolte 2022. Les vins ont d’ores et déjà une grand quantité de soufre inférieure à ce que recommande le label.

Les vins à caractère sec sont à l’honneur. Cristallins et taillés pour la gastronomie, ils trouvent une place convoitée sur des tables exceptionnelles en France, ainsi que dans différents pays européens, en Asie, en Pologne, et en Amérique du Nord.

Nous représentons, entre autres, chacun des Grands Crus d’Andlau : Kastelberg, Wiebelsberg et Moenchberg. À l’image de l’entreprise familiale, les différentes cuvées sont disponibles en petite quantité.

Rigorous and passionate winemakers

Domaine Wach is a family business located in Andlau, a beautiful wine-producing commune in the Bas-Rhin region of Alsace. From artisan coopers to artisan winemakers, we cultivate the desire to do well on a human scale. We take pleasure in designing great varietal wines expressing the beauty of Alsatian grape varieties. The 9 hectares are divided into about twenty parcels, certified organic from the 2022’s harvest. The wines already have a large quantity of sulfur lower than what the label recommends.

Dry wines are in the spotlight. Crystalline and made for gastronomy, they find a coveted place on exceptional tables in France, as well as in various European countries, in Asia, in Poland, and in North America.

We represent, among others, each of the Grands Crus of Andlau: Kastelberg, Wiebelsberg and Moenchberg. As a family business, the different vintages are available in small quantities.
