It allows us to bridge the gap between words and actions.

Family

  • Coming from 7 generations of winemakers, Domaine Wach is committed to remaining a family-owned estate.


  • All our wines come from our own vineyards. Through this approach, we aim to stay independent.

Wine quality

  • We are proud of the wines that bear our name. Wines that do not meet our quality requirements are sold in bulk.


  • We are committed to staying curious about new winemaking technologies.


  • We firmly believe that upcoming research and innovations will allow us to achieve more precise results in reflecting the grape variety and home (carbonic maceration, micro-oxygenation).


  • Following the hygiene criteria we impose on ourselves, and the rigorous monitoring of wine aging, we are committed to minimizing the use of inputs necessary for the production of a cuvee.


  • For optimal wine quality and in line with our goal of reducing inputs, we commit to hand-harvesting our grapes.

Environnement

  • Nous nous engageons à respecter rigoureusement, voire surpasser la cahier des charges Biologique certifié par Ecocert.


  • Nous nous engageons à respecter le cycle digestif du sol (exemple : travail du sol peu profond).


  • Nous nous engageons à conduire nos vignes et à les cultiver de manière à empêcher l’apparition et la propagation des maladies (méthode de lutte préventive appelée prophylaxie).


  • Nous limitons au maximum nos passages en tracteur dans les vignes afin de réduire notre bilan carbone.

Environment

  • We are committed to strictly adhering to, and even surpassing, the Organic specifications certified by Ecocert.


  • We are committed to respecting the soil's digestive cycle (e.g. shallow soil cultivation).


  • We are committed to managing and cultivating our vines in a way that prevents the occurrence and spread of diseases (using a preventive method called prophylaxis).



  • We minimize tractor usage in the vineyards to reduce our carbon footprint.
